Reproduction of 1930s Lighthouse Lamp
This new figural lighthouse lamp is a copy of a 1930s era original. The new lamp is made of pot metal with an antique brass finish; the original is solid brass. Windows at the top are white glass in both new and old.
The old version is almost always seen with only a light bulb in the base which lights up the windows, but not a socket and harp on top. It was essentially a decorative light, not a reading lamp. The new lamp has a full size socket on top as well as the light bulb in the base. Size of the new lamp is 13" not including the socket. Original lamp is slightly shorter and somewhat wider.
